The Medio Fondo follows the Mayhill loop before traveling out on the Sunspot Highway to the turn off to Sunspot before turning around and climbing back over Cathy Canyon peak and finishing at Upper Karr Canyon. The Gravel Fondo goes all the way to Hornbuckle Hill before turning around and heading back to High Rolls before crossing US 82 and climbing La Luz Canyon Road via Calico Peak Road. There are two aid stations on Westside Road and two more on the climb up to Cloudcroft all stocked with snacks, water, and Skratch Labs hydration mix.
